Ipage is a great web hosting provider when it comes building your small website. The company, iPage.com has been providing online hosting service for non-profit, small business, personal, blogs and other type of websites since 1998.

iPage’s shared plan is focusing to provide an all-in-one hosting package that is suitable for most small websites. They do also offer VPS and Dedicated hosting plans, however in this iPage review, I will present you the pros and cons of their shared Essential Plan.

    Looking at this ipage’s user interface you can see they haven’t had a major overhaul since 2006.
    When I signed up the site was still fairly current and the utilities they offered made it easy for me to create and host a basic website.
    By the end of 2014 things at ipage had completely deteriorated. My websites were taken offline because their outdated billing sytem failed to notify me that one $10 service had been left out of my primary bill.
    It took me four days and just as many calls with an hostile customer service staff to find the separate billing page, hidden within two unrelated submenus and through a series of links that had nothing to do with billing. When I compalined about the intentionally unavigatable menus and the hiding of this payment page outside of the billling portion of the website I was scolded by the operator for not setting up automatic billing. She pretty much came out and said that the billing page was hidden on purpose to encourage automatic billing enrollment
    By the time my websites went offline the domains had been allowed to expire and I had to wait, website down for three months, then bought them back through a better company.
    Now I routinely get emails from ipage trying to bill me for the service I no longer have. I’ve corresponded with them many times trying to fix the situation and they have been less than helpful.
    My ipage nightmare is unending. It’s not a scam, just poor service with an outdated and intentionally difficult user interface.

    I could not resist the extremely low price so I signed up two months ago. I heard many complains about ipage before, but I thought I have nothing to loose. In my opinion it was a good decision so get a hosting account with them. They are very serious and also good at hosting. My blog loads smoothly with this hosting package and I’m happy with them.

    Signed up with iPage in 2012 through a promotion. Now I have to renew my account and I thought it would be a good moment to share my experience.
    Can’t say that my journey was perfect with iPage, however they were able to fix any problem that I had. They are very helpful and do care about their customers. I will renew my account even if the price is a bit higher.

    I had been with iPage for 3-4 years. I had auto-renew enabled, and didn’t really pay much attention. This year, they increased their charges on all items. When I started looking, they had been charging me for three domains, when I only had two. When I asked about it, they couldn’t explain how it happened, and would not refund me. They also let my domain names expire. I just happened to check, and when I asked about it, they quickly fixed it. Not very happy with them. I am swithching to Webhostinghub.

    Ipage web hosting is a great way to save money and have a professional website. A friend of mine told me about this company and signed up with them.

    I have couple of websites hosted with ipage and I’m very pleased how things works. Few times I needed some assistance and called them. Gary has helped me and have solved the issues I had.

    One of the best hosting providers around! I’m running 3 websites at ipage for more than 6 months and have never had a problem with them. I use wordpress for my sites, which is very easy to work with and ipage has a special system which is installing a wordpress blog in minutes, without touching the database or files.
    If you ask me, I’m a fan of iPage, and I’m very pleased with the results. Good for business!

    I’m very happy so far, with my sites hosted with ipage.com. The tech support is excellent, they are helping me all the time. What I really like at ipage.com is the site builder. I have never had the chance before to have a website, because it was too expensive to hire a design company, but with their free site builder tool I saved couple hundreds of dollar. I have created a website myself, which looks good, has everything that I need, and I’m getting new customers every day from the site, which is amazing.

    I’m a happy customer of iPage! I’m running five websites on ipage server for more than one year. I had no major problems with this hosting provider. Few times have contacted the live chat support to help me out with some permission problem; they have talked to me friendly and has helped me each time.
